Replacing 25,000 tonnes of China refined lithium hydroxide with the output of our first production train will reduce CO2 emissions by over 300,000 tonnes per annum.

Low-carbon isn't a pledge at TVL; it's the operating model. The refinery runs on 100% certified renewable electricity with access to offshore wind at scale, targets zero solid waste, and is designed so that sustainability is a competitive advantage: the lowest-carbon route to battery-grade lithium for the European market.

Circular by design

Process water is recirculated within the plant, reducing freshwater intake and wastewater discharge. Our partnership with Watercycle Technologies builds recycled lithium into the feedstock mix, cutting reliance on newly mined material. By-products from our process can be utilised by other industries, turning waste into an economic opportunity.

Proven Traceabilily

With Circulor's digital traceability platform, every tonne of lithium we refine is traceable from source to customer — battery-passport ready under the EU Battery Regulation, and auditable for the ESG reporting our Tier 1 customers require.

We've partnered with Circulor to deliver batch-level digital tracking across our refinery - evidencing feedstock origin and recycled content, and aligning with EU battery passport requirements and ESG reporting expectations.
